Fleet contracts

Planned tyre work for fleets of 5 to 40 vehicles

The team in your yard on an agreed day, every tyre on every vehicle checked and written up, and access to breakdown callout around the clock.

  • One or two yard visits a month
  • Written report per vehicle
  • 24-hour breakdown cover

Why schedule it

Tyre trouble is cheaper in the yard.

An audit looks at every tyre on every vehicle and flags what is likely to need attention. Dealing with it on a scheduled visit means the vehicle is already parked and the fitter is already on site. Dealing with it after it lets go on the road means a stopped vehicle, a late load, and a callout rate.

Without a schedule

  • The tyre lets go while the vehicle is loaded and moving
  • The vehicle stands wherever it stops
  • A callout is charged, at an after-hours rate if it happens at night
  • The load runs late

On a contract

  • The tyre is picked up during an inspection, in your yard
  • The vehicle is already parked and off the road
  • No callout fee on a scheduled visit
  • The work lands on a day you chose

The arrangement

What a contract covers

A scheduled fleet relationship, priced monthly on the size of the fleet and the number of visits it needs.

Built for operators running 5 to 40 vehicles. Smaller and larger fleets are quoted on what they actually run.

  • 01Tyre inspections on an agreed day
  • 02Tread and pressure checks across the fleet
  • 03Damage and wear-pattern inspection
  • 04A written report for every vehicle
  • 05Scheduled yard visits
  • 06Planned tyre attention instead of unplanned stoppages
  • 07Contract breakdown support

The inspection

Every tyre on every vehicle

We arrive on the agreed day and work through the fleet. Each tyre is checked for four things, and each vehicle is written up before we leave.

The report you get back

A written report for each vehicle, split into two lists so you can plan the spend rather than react to it.

Contract breakdown cover

The number that answers at two in the morning

Adding breakdown cover to a contract means you can call at any hour, including weekends and public holidays. The team is deliberately small, so night cover is held for the fleets we hold a contract with.

90 minutes is a target, not a guarantee. It is what we work to for contract customers inside the East Rand coverage area, day or night. Without a contract, after-hours work is subject to availability and often is not possible.
